Organic By Design Party Planners Hosts A Day of Wellness in NYC

We are so excited about teaming up with ORGANIC BY DESIGN PARTY PLANNERS of NYC and for being a part of their Day of Wellness event last Saturday, July 18th at Bent Pilates Studio on 9th Avenue and 54th Street. Thank you to all of the visitors who stopped by to learn about our eco-friendly invitations and stationery. And congratulations to Marta Decratel, the lucky winner of our letterpress notecard raffle! Some of the wonderful eco products featured at the event included Carry Me Around eco bags made from natural and reclaimed fabrics. We just love how chic and beautiful these clutch-style purses are. Lorraine Miller Design at the Riverside Church

We are so thrilled to be the preferred invitation vendor at the Riverside Church in Manhattan! We were chosen to show at the annual wedding open house in February where we unveiled (no pun intended) two new designs specifically created for couples getting married at the church. Carra Gamberdella, sales associate, and Lorraine Miller, owner and designer, had the pleasure of meeting with so many wonderful brides and grooms to discuss their invitation plans.

We absolutely love the architecture at the church, the only gothic church in Manhattan. Just being there is a truly magnificent experience and what a spectacular venue to have your ceremony and reception! The many archways throughout the building were the inspiration for the Riverside Church Archway design shown below (click to enlarge). The pleated gatefold format opens like a doorway to reveal the invitation text inside. (click to enlarge)
The second design we created especially for the Riverside Church picks up on the beauty and elegance of its many rose windows (see below). The Rose Window invitation is a square format and you have the option of enclosing it in a petal envelope which reflects one of the shapes in the rose window. Colors and fonts are customizable to your liking. (click to enlarge)
